THE GREATER LONDON KARATE OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS
Sunday 15th February 2009
This was our 1st competition of the year and probably our best start ever.
Six students from Meopham Karate Academy entered and brought back 11 medals. It was a really good acheivement by the club. I couldnt of asked for a better start.
Cant wait for the next competition!!!!!

Well done to Amy Moorhouse who competed in the Novice Kata event and to George Olney who came 5th in the Novice Kata event and also fought in his first ever competition.
Congratulations to Melissa Williamson who came 2nd in the overall standings for 2008 TKA 5 of the best Karate Championships. A Fantastic acheivement from her. 1st place went to Hannah Baker (silver medalist in the Junior European championships). WELL DONE MEL.
